Yeah... I've not been on here much for the last few days because I have been struck down with a marvellously annoying headache.

It's not been bad enough to confine me to bed in a darkened room and is not constant, but comes and goes in a mild migraine-y fashion. Painkillers do very little. Trying not to think about it helps somewhat, so keeping busy may be the answer, but on the other hand doing anything I find fun usually results in me getting eyestrain or having to concentrate or something and potentially making it worse. Taken to watching Avatar again. Nothing too strenuous to be had in watching TV.

All started with me seeing a small speck in my vision, probably caused initially by too much time on the PC, but it faded after maybe 10 minutes. The thought of anything wrong with my eyes though... eurgh... I go dizzy just thinking it. Anyway, the thought there was something wrong with my eyes made me light headed and close to fainting and that brought on the headache to begin with.

Nothing too serious to worry about anyway. I've had headaches similar in nature before and if I just let it run it's course I'll be fine. Methinks my good old friend anxiety-related OCD has made a brief comeback and it is he who is causing this ache. Stupid job interviews... Ah well, at least it's not as bad as the dreaded exam fiasco. I can at least sleep somewhat and it's easier to ignore flashing migraine lights and mild pain than it is being generally alive. I'm just not having a good year.

Eventually the same thing will happen that happened last time. I'll get bored of thinking about it and the problem will go away. However, until then computer screens are probably best avoided as much as possible.

Hope to return to full use of a PC soon.

Also hope to receive some positive news from the job interview I went to. If all goes well, I may be a lab technician at a school by the end of the year... if not, I just have to keep looking. Such is life.
